Regulate body temperature
A common misperception about sheepskins is that they are always warming. The fine woollen fibre allows air to circulate and lets the body naturally regulate temperature easily. This is particularly useful for the elderly or young babies where circulation is less.
Moisture retaining properties
Sheepskin can hold up to 1/3 of its weight in moisture. This helps draw perspiration and any other moisture away from the body further helping the body to better regulate temperature. This is particularly useful for babies where moisture can get caught more easily and helps to prevent rashes.
The natural benefits of sheepskin can be applied to so many practical uses and are always there when using the rugs as simple floor rugs or furniture throws.
